Resources

Education or entertainment?

Let’s face it. We have all wasted (and some still do) a ridiculous amount of time consuming trading content.

Sure, we may sometimes find a few useful nuggets, but they’re often buried in hours of repetitive noise and fluff.

In any topic, there is only so much specific useful and condensed content one can create that is really on point. One good example is Kristian Qullamagie’s WEBSITE where he describes his setups.

But content creators who need to keep posting material simply can’t maintain a high bar and it ends up getting very repetitive.

This Resources Page gives you a taster of some of the best, no-fluff content out there.

Enjoy with moderation!

Videos

Starting with one of my favourites! His description of most new traders is so painfully accurate: over-hyped, undercapitalised, have unrealistic expectations and risk too much too soon:

The next two go very well in combination with Darvas and Reminiscenses books to paint a real-life picture of what the journey is like.

I consider Charles as a “modern day Livermore”. His two videos are extremely insightful and offer a sober reminder of the real potential but also the dangers involved in trading:

Luck, skill and randomness are definitely important concepts to assimilate, not just for trading, but for life in general.

These go nicely with the book Fooled by randomness:

Finishing with a really nice quote at 1:01:45 – “This is really the way that people should start. Learn one thing, do nothing but that for 6 months”.

If only beginners listened to this advice…

Podcast/ Interviews

Insipiring to hear the journey of a Market Wizard‘s son. Says his dad recommended just two books to him: How to Trade in Stocks by Jesse Livermore and How I Made $2,000,000 in the Stock Market by Nicolas Darvas.

One of the best Trader Lion interviews ever. See what Elite Performance in Swing Trading looks like.

Very insightful to hear from a Performance Coach who has spent a long time in Elite circles.
Joining ‘Elite status’ in any field, from sports to trading by definition is not for everyone. By all means, be inspired by the outliers but also manage your expectations.

It is nugget after nugget in this interview!  He talks about the R multiple concept, treating trading as a business, advice on how to scale up, and much more.
